BabyFurn Shipping & Delivery Policy
At BabyFurn, we strive to deliver your order safely and as quickly as possible. Please read the following Shipping & Delivery Policy before placing your order.
Delivery Coverage
BabyFurn delivers nationwide throughout South Africa using trusted courier partners.
We currently deliver to physical street addresses only and are unable to deliver to:
P.O. Boxes
Postal addresses
Farms or remote locations that are not serviced by our courier partners (additional charges may apply where applicable)
Order Processing
Orders are processed during normal business hours:
Monday to Friday
(Excluding weekends and South African public holidays.)
Orders are typically processed within 1 working day after payment has been successfully received.
Orders placed after business hours, on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Delivery Timeframes
Order Cut-off Time: 10:00 AM
Estimated Delivery: 2 to 5 working days after dispatch.
Orders placed before 10:00 AM on a business day will typically be processed and dispatched the same day where possible. Orders received after 10:00 AM will be processed on the next business day.
While we always aim to meet these delivery times, delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier delays, severe weather, high order volumes or peak shopping periods.
Please note that deliveries to remote or outlying areas may take longer.
Shipping Costs
Flat Rate Delivery: R100 nationwide.
FREE Delivery on all orders over R1,000.
Free Local Collection is available by prior arrangement.
Additional courier charges for remote or outlying areas may apply. If this is the case, we will contact you before your order is dispatched.
Order Tracking
If you would like to check the status of your order after it has been dispatched, please contact us at info@babyfurn.co.za.
Where available, we will gladly provide your courier tracking information upon request.
Delivery Requirements
A responsible person must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the parcel.
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing your order.
BabyFurn cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If the courier is unable to complete delivery because:
No one is available to receive the parcel;
The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete; or
The courier cannot gain access to the delivery location,
the parcel may be returned to BabyFurn or a second delivery attempt may be arranged.
Any additional courier costs associated with re-delivery will be for the customer’s account.
Damaged Deliveries
If your parcel arrives damaged, please:
Inspect the parcel before accepting delivery where possible.
Take clear photographs of the parcel and the damaged product.
Notify BabyFurn within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@babyfurn.co.za.
We will investigate the matter promptly and arrange a replacement, exchange or other appropriate resolution where applicable.
Delivery Delays
While we work with reliable courier partners, delivery timeframes are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
BabyFurn cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Extreme weather conditions;
Public holidays;
Courier operational delays;
Civil unrest or strikes;
Natural disasters; or
Any other unforeseen events.
Should a significant delay occur, we will make every effort to keep you informed.
