Welcome to BabyFurn. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of www.babyfurn.co.za, including the purchase of products through our online store.

Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any rights that consumers have under South African law.

3. Website Use

You agree to use this Website lawfully and responsibly.

7. Product Availability

All products are offered subject to availability.

Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.

Should this occur, BabyFurn will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer one of the following:

a suitable replacement product;
a store credit (if agreed); or
a full refund.

Adding products to your shopping cart does not reserve stock.

8. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Prices include VAT where applicable.

Prices may change without prior notice until an order has been accepted.

Should an obvious pricing error occur, BabyFurn reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund where payment has already been received.

9. Orders

Submitting an order does not constitute acceptance of that order.

An order is only accepted once BabyFurn has confirmed acceptance and commenced processing.

BabyFurn reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

payment cannot be authorised;
stock is unavailable;
pricing errors have occurred;
fraudulent activity is suspected;
the order breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Where payment has already been received, any cancelled order will be refunded in full.

10. Payment

Payment must be received in full before any order is dispatched.

BabyFurn accepts the payment methods displayed during checkout.

All online payments are processed through secure payment service providers using encrypted technology.

11. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping and delivery are governed by our separate Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but cannot be guaranteed.

12. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our separate Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

13. Product Assembly & Safety

Certain products supplied by BabyFurn require assembly.

Customers are responsible for assembling products according to the manufacturer’s instructions and ensuring that all fittings, screws and safety mechanisms are securely installed before use.

Furniture, cots, changing stations, playpens, high chairs and similar products should be inspected regularly to ensure continued safe use.

Children should never be left unattended while using any product unless specifically designed for independent use.

Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions or recommended safety guidelines may affect warranty claims.

14. Warranties

Certain products supplied by BabyFurn may include a manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty claims do not cover:

accidental damage;
misuse or abuse;
incorrect assembly;
improper maintenance;
normal wear and tear;
unauthorised repairs or modifications;
failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Nothing contained in this section limits any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act.

All Website content, including but not limited to:

logos;
photographs;
product descriptions;
graphics;
text;
icons;
layouts;
branding; and
software,

is the property of BabyFurn or its licensors and is protected by South African intellectual property laws.
